Spanish rally driver sharing Hyundai Motorsport's third entry in the FIA World Rally Championship, and one of the most experienced competitors in the sport's history. Won the Junior world championship in 2005, spent his early career alongside Sébastien Loeb at Citroën, and has been with Hyundai since the team entered the championship in 2014.

Waited more than a decade and over a hundred starts for a first victory, which arrived at Rallye Deutschland in 2013, and followed it with back-to-back wins in Sardinia in 2019 and 2020. Has contested a selected programme rather than a full season since 2018. Long typecast as an asphalt specialist — a label his gravel record long ago outgrew.
