Welsh rally driver competing for Toyota Gazoo Racing in the FIA World Rally Championship, and the most successful driver of the current era yet to win the title — runner-up five times, in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Known for a technical, precise driving style, and widely regarded as the engineer's driver of the current grid. The 2025 campaign was the closest of them: he finished inside the top six at all fourteen rounds and led the championship after ten of them, losing out to team-mate Sébastien Ogier by four points at the final round in Saudi Arabia. Drives the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 alongside Oliver Solberg, Takamoto Katsuta and Sami Pajari.
