Toyota GR Yaris Rally1

Designed and built by Toyota Gazoo Racing's World Rally Team in Jyväskylä, Finland, and introduced for the Rally1 formula in 2022. The most successful car of its era by a clear margin — four consecutive manufacturers' titles from 2022, drivers' championships for Kalle Rovanperä in 2022 and 2023, and Sébastien Ogier's record-equalling ninth in 2025.

Its defining quality is breadth. Where the 2022 regulations made these cars notoriously difficult to trust at the limit, the GR Yaris proved unusually driveable — winning on snow, on rough African gravel, on fast smooth gravel and on asphalt, and suiting drivers from a 21-year-old rookie to a part-time veteran.
