About
Finnish rally driver sharing Hyundai Motorsport's third entry in the FIA World Rally Championship. Won the European Rally Championship in 2014 and the WRC2 title in 2016 before Tommi Mäkinen handed him a Toyota seat.
Took his maiden world championship victory at Rally Finland in 2017 on only his fourth start in a World Rally Car, holding on for the win despite breaking a wheel on the penultimate stage while leading. His second came at Rally Sweden in 2024 — a gap of 81 rallies between victories, the longest in the championship's history. Contests a selected programme rather than a full campaign, sharing the third i20 N with Dani Sordo and Hayden Paddon.
