🇫🇷 Yohan Rossel
Lancia Corse HF
Car: Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale
About
A product of the French federation's talent pipeline who has spent a decade being the best driver in whatever category he was put in. Born in Nîmes in 1995, Rossel came through karting and the Caterham Cups before winning the Rallye Jeunes selection in 2014 — the FFSA's scouting programme — and the Citroën Racing Junior Trophy in the same year.
What followed reads like a ladder climbed one rung at a time: the Citroën Racing Trophy in 2016, the French Rally Championship in 2019, and the WRC3 title in 2021. He has won WRC2 rallies regularly since 2022 and finished runner-up for the category's world title, which is the one line missing from an otherwise complete CV.
In 2026 he and co-driver Arnaud Dunand became an official Lancia Corse HF crew, and in April gave the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale its first world championship victory in Croatia — the marque's first since it walked away from factory rallying in 1992, holding a record ten manufacturers' titles on the way out. His younger brother Léo also contests WRC2, which makes the surname ambiguous in entry lists and, occasionally, in photo archives.
